Are you alright?

Sore and feeling a bit jumbled and a mild desire every so often to either serve coffee, dye my hair black or be edgy, but otherwise, yes.

... at least you're all... relatively fine.

Do you know why exactly he did all of that...?

He wanted to put us all back together as one person.

i.e. he was being a stupid shit.

But it's a case where I think he's scared and stupid.

My personal guess?

Us being like we were was a happy time for him even if it was kinda shitty for us.

Think you have to understand, after we left, Mom apparently started abusing him, instead of us.

He couldn't grasp us being completely separate people, too much to learn your sister's now four people.

He's a dumb ass. Jouji's always been generally coddled and thinks like a coddled kid, even with any abuse from mom.

I... I see. I'm glad he didn't succeed, really. It would've been rather... messy, I think.

And how exactly was he even capable of doing this, though?

A Chaos Number? I don't know if I'm familiar with those.

... I sort of am, due to well, circumstances you're aware of.

Basically black magic and the like can be poured into a Number or any Xyz to make it meaner, nastier, stronger, uglier, more violent, more powerful.

Dark Mist was curious about if that could be extended to Fusion, Rituals, Synchros, et al, but they never got a chance.

That... would explain it more, yes.

The ultimate problem is we lost the only source who knew the most about these.

Because Ancient Fairy and her brother had to go for the killing option.

I don't remember too much since my shard was fragmentary.

And I think the other shards were either eliminated by Dark Mist themselves, or you guys did.

... Technically, there IS one last living fragment, but they have none of Dark Mist's knowledge, so far as I know. If they do have any of it, they're hiding it very.

Well, at the least, he was stopped from this, right? That's important for the now. The specifics of it-- the reason, the cause-- that's important for the long term.

Well, we'll be beating him if he tries it again.

The cause of all this is he holds us up on a pedestal, for varying reasons, and seeing us as we were is why he pushed to come here, near as we can gather.

Basically, he has hero worship for us and we're something familiar after years of abuse from Mom.

And Mom sucks.

But... I guess I can see how it could be. But still, trying to do this... I can understand not accepting the situation, as under normal circumstances, the idea of you all having separate bodies is unbelievable, but it's another thing when one tries to "fix" it.

He's really really fond of me and Shiyoko, and always liked playing with both of us when we could sneak away from Mom.

And I think he liked that he had a second sister show up, not being able to understand.

Basically, nostalgia isn't logical.

But I think now that you're aware of it, you're going to make sure he doesn't have a chance to try again.

We're planning on cycling him between the three of us and planting our heels on him regularly when he leaves the island.

Though we have no clue what to do about the legal situation regarding Mom.
