To anyone generally dealing with Kamala. Yes that means you, Onni, Shian, Shikou, Kou, etc.

Keep ANY foreigners you or she doesn't know away from my daughter. By any means necessary.

Apparently 'champions' and 'heroes' from across the globe, from what I'm being told, are after her. And most are being kept from entering Japan. But some might slip through the cracks.

So... Kamala's birthday went. Well enough.

Went clothes shopping. Drove on a D-Wheel with her.

Took her to Domino's water park. Had her friends Kanan and Artemis join us (Artemis is technically her cousin...) and my fiancée join us there.

Oh right, I should mention: I'm getting married soon to Noriko.

... Don't ask how she's doing so legally when she's with Souha (who's cool with it), she's tried. It makes my brain melt.

And then we all went for burgers, pizza and milkshakes. Gave her some presents.

Everyone seemed happy, but I can't help but feel like Kamala had other thoughts she was focusing on...

At. Least. It went well?

Thinking on that ... I'm trying to schedule therapy with her somewhere. Not with her aunt-soon-to-be-mom.

I've tried to keep her away from bad things... and yet somehow she's still gotten trauma... Mmm...

Am I a bad mom?

So how do you approach:

A) You approach your existing SO that you want to be in a poly relationship?

B) That you're looking to be in a very serious relationship to your daughter, who has expressed low opinions of dating anyone outside of like... one or two other people.

I kinda realize I'm a bit of a dummy.

So, uh, Mom and I are setting up a, like, trust, for Kamala for her birthday, but I don't think that's particularly like. Exciting. For a tweenage girl.

What do you get for a girl who's I'm pretty sure 11, plus minus Fairy Nonsense. As birthday presents in like a month or so.

They're waiting in a lobby. Shiyoko's wearing a jacket and slacks, while Kamala's wearing stylish kids' clothes. Shiyoko seems a bit annoyed, Kamala seems morose.

So, went with Seku... I think it's Seku? I keep slipping on your name, dude.

And got the Hybridization Surgery! It went smoothly! I think!

Pros:
• I got cool cat eyes
• I gained like... 6 to 8 inches, I'm 6'0" now
• My stomach is a washboard of abs
• I'm built, muscularly
• I've got like lion/shark teeth

Cons:
• I keep banging my head into everything. EVERYTHING.
• I kinda wanna go running through the woods ~~can I do that with you, Shikou?~~
• Balls of yarn are distracting
• I have self esteem again

I think I should be ready to go for like, Hybridization surgery, but I'm still feeling kind of awkward about doing it!

I'd like someone to come with me, I guess. A friend. I'd feel really weird if I asked a family member to come! Ahahaha.

So.

Uh.

Yeah, I technically oversee it indirectly.

But does anyone have any comments on that Hybrid Research Lab place?

::So, Kou and Satou, Shiyoko's opened "Judecca Bar and Cafe" on a night where Kamala's busy with an afterschool class or tutoring, where she's running around and baffling the teacher with how much endless energy she has, as if someone made a hummingbird into a little girl.

A perfect time to grill Shiyoko about being a servant of the damned, perhaps?::

::So, Shiyoko's cafe has opened, labeled "Judecca Bar and Cafe".

It's a small cafe with only about three or fur tables inside and 2 tables outside under a canopied veranda. There's also about 4 bar stools.

Shiyoko herself is crying from chopping onions, though the place doesn't seem very busy yet.::

Soooo, would it be a terribad idea if I kinda wanted to make sure the cafe is just a small clientele of less than 20 to a dozen people at time, and let it be a money sink.

As I mostly want it to do something to get me out of Kaikori.

But I don't want it to be. Stressful?

What do you do when you get a name for your store that you absolutely love?

But then realize five minutes later it can be taken horribly wrrrrooonngggg.

So.

How would people feel.

If I opened a Cafe.

With Ai and Shiroko as staff.

And my mother as co-manager.

... I had a really dumb idea that I like but I'm going to let it stew for a few days and see if still sounds like a good suggestion.

Ugh. I think this really nasty bug bit me.

Okay. I give in.

I'll start hiring maids for the new house because one Kamala and one new baby are too much.

(The baby isn't mine, it's my mother's)
